Tom Bianchi's "Once On This Island" :: Out

Out magazine October issue features "Once On This Island" - Exhibited for the first time, Tom Bianchi's Polaroids of Fire Island in the '70s preserve a world of sun-kissed young Adonises, more than half of them gone.

“Most photos of men are just collections of hot bodies, but I’m more interested in what the artist sees beyond the surface,” says Tom Bianchi, who captured 1970s Fire Island at its most intimate for Out's October issue. Three more photos after the jump.

Luckily we still have barebacking to make sure that not all of today's young Adonises make it to old age. Natural stupidity keeps the troll population under control.
